Hamar Medieval festival 2023
So This post i a spot late, but summer is always a busy time. So better late than never. In the beginning of June the annual medieval festival in Hamar was again held. As this is my local festival i of course dragged out all the displays i could. And along side Lennart Hiffmann (@hoffman_smed instagram) we set up our medieval forge and the bowyers and fletchers workshop for a weekend of historical crafts display and educational presentations.
We joind Middelalderforeningen i Hedmark on their campsite, and had several of the members come join and have a bit of a go as well, and a lovely chat.
There was a decent amount of public coming along to see what was going on and the weekend flew past. This year I also in some unknown fashion managed to get myself to the semi finals of the Tribus Archery competitions.
As always I am rather rubbish at remembering to take pictures, So thankt to Mari Faye-Pettersen (@halvorsdottir instagram) for taking some of the pictures (most containing me are from her).
Unfortunately this was the last planned event for this year as well. Maybe we can see if we come up with more to do next season. But there is always something happening in the workshop, and I will try to become better at updating stuff here as well.
