Shooting a Hunting arrow 55# bow
My good friend the Blacksmith Lennart Hoffmann and myself made an arrow at the event, it was not baed on any historical finds, but an interpretation of several arrows combined into a possible hunting arrow.
One of the interesting aspect of this arrow is that it in its entirety was created at the event. Including the string used in binding and whipping.
And of course we had to shoot it for fun, end it shot very well. We only had a relatively light bow at hand, at 55#@29” victorian trilaminate, Ash - walnut-elm, but it was fun.
hope you enjoy this little diversion
