Making Arrowshafts using Powertools

When making arrows the Traditional way it is normal to start with a square piece of wood, end then to plane it round using a hand plane. However sometime you just want it to go a bit faster. That is where power tools com into play.

I have spent some time experimenting with various methods and tools to make the process more efficient without massive investments in machinery and equipment. The video below shows the process I now use for my machine planed shafts. I hope you enjoy it.
